Calne Community Transport provides transport to social clubs, for shopping trips, day centres and for excursions throughout Calne and surrounding villages for elderly. The minibuses are fully accessible for wheelchair users. Transport is also available for community groups.

The Cartmell Community Minibus was purchased in September 2009 with the help of donations from Malmesbury League of Friends, Westlea Housing, Malmesbury and Villages Community Area Partnership, Malmesbury Carnival, Western Challenge Housing Association and the Rotary Club of the South Cotswolds, for the benefit of groups of all types in the local community.

Cartmell Community Minibus Limited was formed in 1997 to manage the Minibus and have successfully been providing community transport since then.

The vehicle is also equipped to accommodate two wheelchairs, has an electric lift for safer chair handling and all seats are fitted with seat belts.

The hire charge (currently 65p/mile for Youth Groups and 85p/mile for adult groups) is inclusive of fuel and on the basis that the hiring groups provide their own driver. All drivers must be aproved by the company, following a relevant minibus driving test.

Swindon Dial A Ride provides Dial A Ride and group transport services and is a door to door bus service for people with mobility difficulties and for those who are socially excluded in rural areas. It operates between 07:45 and 18:15, Monday to Saturday covering the whole of Swindon Borough, Purton, Lydiard and Broad Hinton.

Dial A Ride car journeys can be arranged for anywhere in the UK. The minibuses are available for use by any community or voluntary group in the local area. All minibuses and cars are fully accessible for wheelchair users.
