Their aim is to make
the pleasure of shopping and leisure facilities in the town
of Warminster availiable to all. They help disabled and elderly
people to maintain their mobility and independence.
This is achieved
through the loan of a manual or electric wheelchair or scooter
together with a volunteer assistant if required.
There is a £15.00
a year registration fee with loans then being made at a rate
of £3 per session.
Weekly and weekend
loans are available for both manual and electric scooters. Weekend
rates start from £10. Visitors to Warminster can benefit
from our special rates; a one-off registration fee of £5,
plus £5 for hiring a chair or scooter for the day.
On days when they
are not open, a scooter is available for hire from the Wessex
Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in The Avenue. Their telephone

station and the hospital.
