Community Transport schemes are always
happy to involve new volunteers in their work. Volunteers are needed
for a variety of tasks including transporting people in minibuses
or their own car, taking telephone bookings, helping with the day
to day management, fundraising, producing publicity material or
by becoming a committee member.

The Combine Bus provides services from Chirton,
Marden and Patney to Salisbury and Devizes. Volunteers are needed
for the management committee and as volunteer drivers.

The Shopmobility scheme in Salisbury is seeking
volunteers. Volunteers help run the Shopmobility Centre, and provide
information, advice and support to Shopmobility users.

The Tisbury and District Community Bus (Tisbus)
is looking to recruit volunteers for a wide range of tasks. These
could include taking bookings, driving the minibus or promoting
the service to possible users.

Swindon Dial-A-Ride and Community Transport provide
transport services for people with mobility difficulties. Volunteers
are needed to take telephone bookings and drive the minibuses. Full
training is given.
